The Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA) is a membership-based trade association that represents licensed private hire operators (providers of private hire vehicle and taxi services that the travelling public can pre-book) in the UK.

The LPHCA’s primary role is that of a trade body that passionately represents (in conjunction with our membership) the interests of licensed taxi and private hire vehicle operators (minicab and chauffeur) that take pre-bookings; indirectly we also represent our members’ driver’s interests. 

Our website is of course the gateway for LPHCA members to get help and information on licensing, industry matters, news and LPHCA events, however it can also be of considerable interest to the travelling public and commercial users looking for information on reputable private hire and taxi operators and the industry.
